Created in the 70s by Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone (American Jungian analyst and behavioral background), Voice Dialogue is a method of self-knowledge.
The goal is to get to know oneself by giving the floor to sub-personalities, also called "voices," the complementary and contradictory opposites within each of us.
The approach is to discover, test and integrate the different "sub-personalities" that inhabit us. According to Hal and Sidra Stone, smothering some of our sub-personalities immerses us in painful inner conflicts (the inability to make a difficult choice, for example) and we get locked in repetitive feelings such as guilt, nervousness, anger, fear. The principle of Voice Dialogue is simple: during the sessions, it is the opposite experiment "nice-nasty", "relaxed-activist", "bully-victim", "obedient-rebel", etc. Each sub-personality has its own value system, reactions and judgments.
The principle of Voice Dialogue is to become aware of its operation in order to manage your life with more freedom in the face of everyday situations, or decisions, to live your life in self-knowledge, without automation, and with flexibility.

« Progress and development are ideas not lightly to be rejected, but they lose all meaning if man only arrives at his new state as a fragment of himself, having left his essential hinterland behind him in the shadow of the unconscious. »
